ABOUT SELMA A.I.R
Who are we?
Selma AIR is a non-profit, community-based organization located in the heart of central Alabama’s Black Belt region. We serve 8 counties, known as Alabama Department of Public Health area VII. The counties that we aid are Choctaw, Dallas, Hale, Lowndes, Marengo, Perry, Sumter & Wilcox, but will not turn anyone away based on the area that they reside in. Selma AIR is funded by United Way of Central Alabama (Ryan White Part B), State of Alabama, Weaver Parrish Fund of Selma Alabama, AIDS United, and various ally organizations that are advocates for the abolishment of HIV/ AIDS. With this funding Selma AIR is dedicated to eradicating this virus from the areas that we serve.
